When a robot hands you a tool, who is watching?
A dual-stream safety monitor for robot-to-human tool handover. One stream watches the robot for impending failure, one watches the human for reach intent, and a transparent fusion layer decides when to slow, yield, or stop. Tested across 1,000 simulated handovers against a pre-registered criterion.

Eight years ago I swore off grad school , this field rewards building, not papers. Then I moved to Germany to study AI and robotics anyway. Here's the honest version of what that cost me and what it gave back.
