I've always been fascinated by how things work. I was the kid who took things apart to find the pattern inside, or just to fix what was broken. I first got my hands on a computer at 18, learning the basics of typing and clicking, and that small spark of curiosity never really left.

So instead of a more traditional engineering path, I chose Computer Science to understand how the machine actually thinks. I was quickly drawn to the software side, and along the way met brilliant people who helped shape my path to teams like Andela, Incentro, and Scrums.com.

When AI broke into the mainstream, I wanted to understand what was really happening behind the scenes, not just use it. That pull led me deep into computer vision and robotics, where I'm now researching, building real robots, and exploring problems I didn't know existed.

That same drive to solve real problems is why I joined an ambitious founder to co-create Alma (part of AI Nation), trauma-informed AI that helps survivors of gender-based violence navigate life with dignity. It's a straight line from the kid taking things apart to the engineer building systems that help people through their hardest moments.
